TabTrade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
